Exciting News about our 2010 Leadership Forum @ Silver Bay, July 7-10, 2010
We are please to announce an incredible initial group of Leadership Forum Conference Facilitators for this year's Conference:
First is Chris Ernst, a long-time Leadership Forum member from the Center for Creative Leadership. The most important challenges we face today are interdependent – they can only be solved by groups working collaboratively together. Chris' next book, Boundary Spanning Leadership, due out this Fall, lays out six leadership practices for transforming limiting borders into limitless new frontiers for solving problems, driving innovation, and transforming organizations. Chris seeks to “practice what he preaches” by serving in several long-term expatriate roles in Asia and Europe and by designing and facilitating leadership interventions globally. Come learn new practices for leading across boundaries. And come experience CCL’s latest methodology for developing collaborative leadership capabilities within individuals, organizations, and broader communities. Learn more.
Additionally, we will be joined at Silver Bay by Renee Moorefield, PhD and CEO of Wisdom Works in Colorado. On three levels, Renee and her firm assist executives in integrating “human vitality” into the drive for results: 1) personal vitality, so that you as leader get the best performance and wisdom out of yourself; 2) team vitality, so that workgroups and organizations operate with a clear vision, a deeper sense of collaboration and strength; and 3) big picture vitality, so that executives foster - through their organization’s strategies and actions - a healthier, more resilient planet.
In keeping with our tradition of inviting an influential leader to the Conference, Gary Crittenden, the former CFO of American Express, Citigroup, and several other major corporations will be joining us in Silver Bay. Gary is known personally and professionally by several LF members as an incredibly effective leader, someone who is known for creating impactful and meaningful change. In his book, "The Trillion Dollar Meltdown," author Charles R. Morris wrote, "Gary Crittenden, Citigroup CFO, may have been the first to tell analysts the truth [about the sub-prime write downs in late 2007". Today, Gary's impact transcends corporate life, as he plays an increasingly influential role in the global community. Gary's extensive practical experience and proven leadership make him the ideal business leader to share his story, lessons learned, and to lead a provocative dialogue. Learn more.
