With a reputation of creating values-based business cultures that succeed, Ann Rhoades helped launch the hottest new airline in America. One of the five founding leaders, with the goal of bringing humanity and enjoyment back to air travel, Jet Blue is one of very few commercial airlines ever to earn a profit in its first full year of operation. The airline and its innovative culture have captured the imagination of its customers, whose loyalty borders on obsessive. Rhoades has made a habit of creating high-performing cultures. Ann has a respected reputation in the industry for her creative approach to creating cultures around fun. During her tenure with Doubletree Hotels, she built a service culture focused on delivering outstanding service to Guests. During the time Ann headed the People Department at Southwest Airlines, she solidified Southwest’s reputation of retaining and hiring the best people in the airline business despite Southwest’s rapid growth during that time. Most recently, Ann had responsibility for the creation of JetBlue Airways Corporation’s People Team in New York. Ann currently serves on JetBlue Airways Corporation, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Restoration Hardware, and Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School Boards |
