Charlie Huebner joined the United States Olympic Committee in March 2001 where he currently serves as the Chief of U.S. Paralympics, where he is responsible for increasing the visibility of Paralympic sport in the United States and for the oversight of the Paralympic division. He previously served the organization as the Chief of Staff since March 2005, prior to stepping into his new role with the U.S. Paralympics division.

Huebner previously was Executive Director for the United States Association of Blind Athletes (1993-2001) and spent three years as Coordinator of Communications for Arizona Governor Rose Mofford.

Huebner is active in volunteer community service projects that impact children’s charities. He currently serves on the boards of directors of The Children’s Literacy Center and Pennies for Nicoll. Huebner is also a co-founder of the YOT Club, a cost-effective black-tie event to collect toys for underprivileged children.

In 1996, Huebner was among the 41 Americans who received a Jefferson Award for community service.
